Basic Korean

Module 1: September 13 ~ November 8

9 Saturdays, 3 hours per meeting (3:00-5:00 p.m.)


COURSE

    Hangukmal Baewooja is a basic Korean language course. It
introduces Hangul

(한글),
the Korean alphabet. Proficiency in Hangul is the key to develop basic

communication skills in this language such as reading, writing and
speaking.


OBJECTIVE

    At the end of the course, students are able to:

•       Read and write Hangul.

•       Construct simple sentences in Korean.

•       Understand simple dialogue spoken in Korean.

•       Speak simple Korean sentences.

•       Prepare students for higher courses.


COURSE DURATION

    A total of 27 hours will be allotted for this course. It will be
divided

into 9 sessions. Each session will last for 3 hours including a
20-minute

break in-between. Students will shoulder expenses for course
materials.

Classes will start on September 13 and end on November 8.


Fees: P4,500 for Ateneo alumni and faculty members

         P4,500 for those who will pay on or before September 8

         P5,000 for those outside of the above


If the enrollees do not reach ten, we will not push through, and money
will be

refunded.
