A relationship marketing program targeting faculty, undergraduate students, and graduate students is the focus of an article published in the international journal Library Management. The paper, authored by Rizal Library Director Lourdes T. David and co-author Karryl Kim A. Sagun, was also presented at the 3rd Qualitative and Quantitative Methods in Libraries (QQML) International conference held in May 2011 in Athens, Greece. Sagun is also with the Rizal Library, and holds the position Assistant to the Director for Special Programs and Events.

Entitled “Increasing awareness and use of the library’s resources and facilities through relationship marketing strategies,” the paper investigates a relationship marketing program undertaken by the Rizal Library. The paper reports the results of the program over a period of time to compare usage before and after program implementation. Success indicators showed a marked increase in the use of its resources and services.
